Gloria Chan Packer is a mental wellness expert and experienced corporate leader.
Gloria is the Principal Advisor and Founder of Recalibrate, a workplace mental wellness provider with a mission to foster healthy minds at work through science-backed, empowering education and realistic tools with real impact. After an unexpected medical battle amidst a fulfilling career as a senior leader in management consulting, Gloria opened Recalibrate to make mental wellness more accessible to modern professionals. Since 2018, Recalibrate has worked with thousands of individuals across the globe with client organizations like Atlassian, McKinsey & Co, Salesforce, Whole Foods Market, Khoros, and Outdoor Voices.
Prior to Recalibrate, Gloria was a Senior Engagement Manager at consulting firm Sense Corp – directing project delivery, managing and developing consulting teams, and driving client CXO relationships in technical, strategic, and operational capacities. Example clients included Comcast, OptumCare, USAA, and Charter Communications.
Gloria has found a lifetime of joy in giving back, from informal random acts of kindness to more formal community roles. She has served as a Social Venture Partner for Mission Capital, an Advisory Board member for It’s Time Texas, and a mentor for the Young Women’s Alliance. During her time at Sense Corp, Gloria co-directed the firm’s Outreach efforts which provided over $4m in pro bono consulting services to nonprofit partners. She also prioritizes giving back 10%+ of Recalibrate’s annual profits in discounted and pro bono services to promote mental wellness access to nonprofits and community organizations.
Gloria’s other happy places are traveling, camping, rock climbing, indoor cycling, reading, and gathering with friends over food and drink. Among all her life experiences, her happiest and most cherished are living life’s many adventures with her husband, Dr. Casey Packer, and their two pups, Pierre and Pintxo.
Gloria has completed professional training from Deep Eddy Psychotherapy, The National Institute for Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine, and The Mindfulness Center. She has also completed Executive Education from Columbia Business School and holds a B.B.A. in Finance and Business Honors from the University of Texas at Austin.
