Since 1998, the Young Women’s Alliance and the Young Men’s Business League have partnered annually to host the Austin Under 40 Awards—a black-tie fundraising gala honoring and celebrating Austin’s emerging professionals and their mentors who are making an impact in our community. These individuals are recognized in 17 categories, as well as Austinite of the Year. The application process is a rigorous one and applicants are judged not only on their career achievements but also on their involvement in the community.
