Since 1998, the Austin Under 40 Awards (AU40) event has honored and celebrated Austin’s emerging professionals and their mentors who are making an impact in our community. The Young Men’s Business League (YMBL) of Austin hosts a series of events, culminating with the Austin Under 40 Awards gala honoring and celebrating Austin’s most impressive professionals under the age of 40. These individuals are recognized in 18 categories, with one category winner named the Austinite of the Year. The application process is a rigorous one and applicants are judged not only on their career achievements but also on their involvement in the community.
