Bianca Garcia

Assistant District Attorney

Bianca Garcia is a native Austinite. She has a BA/MA from The George Washington University. While studying in Washington, DC, she maintained her Austin ties by working on Capitol Hill for Congressman Lloyd Doggett.
Bianca received her JD from The University of Texas School of Law where she was awarded a fellowship from the Bernard and Audre Rapoport Center for Human Rights and Justice for a clerkship at the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.
She is currently an Assistant District Attorney. Bianca is a member of the Junior League of Austin, serves on the board of Waterloo Greenway, Literacy Coalition of Central Texas, and the community board of Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas. She is a Truman National Security Project Political Partner. Bianca was awarded the 2019 HABLA Outstanding Latina Community Leader Award and the 2016 Young Hispanic Professional’s Association of Austin Emerging Leader Award.
In her free time, Bianca is an avid reader, history buff, and moviegoer.
