Lauren is originally from Atlanta, Georgia. She decided to brave the cold and attend the University of Colorado-Boulder where she majored in Communications and Mandarin.

After years of shoveling snow, Lauren quickly jumped at the opportunity to relocate to Austin 5 years ago to work for Dimensional Fund Advisors. She is a licensed representative and works on Dimensional’s Practice Management team, as well as oversees the company’s community service efforts. Lauren speaks German, Chinese, and Spanish. She and her partner Aaron have twin French Bulldogs, Tater Tot and Queso—follow them on instagram @theloadedtots.
