Mayor’s Coffee
Few experiences match the inspiration of our Mayor’s Coffee gathering. Hosted at the Zilker Lodge–home to Austin Sunshine Camps–this intimate morning event connects finalists with Austin’s Mayor and key community leaders. As you enjoy your coffee with a view of downtown Austin, you’ll hear firsthand about our city’s vision for the future and the role young leaders like you play in shaping it.
The setting itself tells a powerful story: Zilker Lodge serves as the headquarters for Austin Sunshine Camps, the beneficiary organization of the AU40 Awards Gala. Your participation as a finalist directly supports their mission to provide the magic of overnight summer camp without the barrier of cost, and to offer a space where Austin area children have a place to grow, connect, and explore.
