Since 1998, the Austin Under 40 Awards (AU40) fundraising event has honored and celebrated Austin’s emerging professionals and their mentors who are making an impact in our community. The Young Men’s Business League (YMBL) of Austin hosts a series of events, culminating with the Austin Under 40 Awards gala—a black tie event honoring and celebrating Austin’s emerging professionals under the age of 40. These individuals are recognized in 18 categories, including Austinite of the Year.
All proceeds raised from the gala support Austin Sunshine Camps.
Now in its twenty-fifth year, Austin Under 40’s profile has risen year over year with sold-out events. Through strategic and strong local media partnerships, sponsors are promoted across television and radio audiences as well as various print and online publications. Additionally, superior sponsorship recognition is achieved throughout the event with a captive audience of more than 500 guests. There are also sponsorship opportunities at various Austin Under 40-related events around Austin before and after the awards show.
Each year, the caliber of award honorees, community support, engagement with the business community and the event itself surpass expectations and make history.
